Can Kendir (Izmir, Turkey) was born in 1976 and studied at “L’école Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris La Villette” (ENSAPLV) under the direction of “Ecole des Beaux Arts de Paris”, where he received the title “Architecte DPLG” (Diplomé Par Le Gouvernement), French Bachelors of Architecture in 2000. Upon graduation, he became associate architect in AG Concept Architecture in Paris where he also worked during his studies between 1994-2000. He co-signed many significant private residential, office and commercial projects with Arnaud Guvan, awarded Parisian architect. In 2006-2007, he also worked with his family-owned architecture practice, ASC Architecture and co-signed “The Gurel Residence” project, the first high-rise residence building in Izmir, Turkey.
In 2011, he established CKMY Architects with Mert Yilmaz in Istanbul, Turkey.
